Stacking the Shelves (45): August 12, 2023

I have officially moved over to Threads and deactivated my Twitter account. I'm going to miss the community I built there, but I'm hopeful to have the same interactions on Threads and Instagram!

My mom and aunt are at the National Bank Open tennis today to watch the semi-finals! I bought them tickets for mother's day so I hope they are having fun.

I'm going to try vlogging while reading so maybe subscribe to my YouTube channel in the meantime?

        I have officially moved over to Threads and deactivated my Twitter account. I'm going to miss the community I built there, but I'm hopeful to have the same interactions on Threads and Instagram!

        I am officially 100 books behind schedule and am admitting defeat. I'm going to change my reading challenge to 225 and then slowly increase if I hit that! Give me some good short reads.

        July 2023 Monthly Recap

        I have a very ambitious reading goal this year, so I am trying my best to stay up to date on reading, my reading challenges, and staying on track. I am about 100 books behind based on Goodreads so I am not sure I'll meet it this year but I'm going to try.

        I also didn't read throughout all of June and for half of May so that puts me super far behind. I was trying to just read to read rather than reading for fun. So now I am going to focus on reading the books I own (and that I have in my room, then going to my storage unit and reading those). I also need to catch up on audiobooks that I own since I was close to 100% read for audiobooks across all the platforms I have.

        I plan on being more active and out of the house in August so hopefully I can do some vlogging!

        It's been a long, hard summer so far with me taking new medication for bipolar disorder, so I've been a little off with reading goals and blogging. I'm feeling a bit better now so I'm hopeful to get back into the swing of things.

        Stacking the Shelves (42): May 13, 2023

        We're coming up on some great in-person festivals over the next couple of months since it's summertime. I might not be able to get to all of them, but I try to get to the ones I can!

        Next up is Word on the Street Toronto on May 27th and 28th which I'll definitely be in attendance for. I loved the Community Pop-Up event so I can't wait for the full festival.

        After that is the Alice Munro Festival of the Short Story on June 2nd to 4th and I will be there only on Sunday, June 4th.

        I'm going to try vlogging while reading and attending these festivals more so maybe subscribe to my YouTube channel in the meantime?
