It's been a busy week and even busier because I took Friday off to make an extra long weekend so I ended up working more during the week so I didn't fall behind on my projects. But I've been consistently reading, updating my blog, posting on Instagram, and spending time with my fiance, so it's not all bad.

We're 99% sure about our wedding venue, just have to decide on a date! That's always super fun and exciting but we're also nervous about making the wrong decision.

    I am trying to catch up on releases I've missed over the last few years and I've started with releases from Elise Kova! I have quite a few books to catch up and I'm going to work through them as I can while reading other things.

    I'm still here and staying accountable with these Stacking the Shelves posts. ICYMI, I talked a bit about my leave (and return) in my latest Instagram post.

    I have been spending time with my family after about a year, which is amazing to me. I have really missed everyone.

    Sadly, we had a bat come into our house the other day - at 2:00 a.m.!!! Which was definittely not fun. But we're all safe and Pepper is extra safe which is all I cared about.

    I haven't been reading as much but I've been keeping up on trends, new releases, and the like and feel good about that. You'll be seeing posts from me soon and I can't wait to share with you!

    I'm back! And better than ever! (Maybe lol) But I'm really excited to be creative again, share my love of books, and read and review for you all again. I talked a bit about my leave (and return) in my latest Instagram post. I'm taking it slow and this will probably be the only post for a bit as I start to build up content and make sure I don't overwhelm myself with burnout.

    I am fully vaccinated, I am working hard at my job, and I got engaged all since I last posted. I am so grateful and thankful to my family for all the support I've gotten as things have been a bit hard and thankful to all of YOU who have still clicked, read, and engaged with my content while I was absent. I came back for YOU (and also me).

    So today I'm sharing a Stacking the Shelves because I bought some books and want to showcase what I'm reading!
