This week's Third Sentence Thursday features What's Left of Me by Kat Zhang. I got this one at BookOutlet because at least 70% of my books come from there. It seems like something I would be super interested in, especially since I actually liked The Host by Stephanie Meyer and it seems to follow a similar premise.

I'm still on a buying freeze, but I only picked up a couple books this month, so I'm actually pretty proud of myself. Instead of buying a whole lot of books, I've been reading a whole lot of books. It's a good system I have in place.

This month, I picked up...

With this I now have the complete set of books in my possession, so I think that is a good buy!

With these, I now have the complete series! Another good buy!

This week's novel is one that I read yesterday for the #TBRTakedown Challenge as the "One Year or More on TBR" book! If you liked the TV show, I would suggest not reading this one unless you want to be like "well I read the book and watched the TV show". It was a bit challenging to get through so take that one with a grain of salt. I know you guys have read my review, and know I was disappointed. I wanted to have a "but" there but there is no but. I was disappointed.

This week's wishlist Wednesday title is one that has been on my wishlist for about a year now since it came out last June. It is said to be a mix of Philippa Gregory (The Tudor Court author) and A Song of Ice and Fire series by George R.R. Martin, so I was like eff yeah I want to read that. Dragon Ball: The Complete Illustrations by Akira Toriyama

Today's Wishlist Wednesday book is also one that has been on my wishlist for a while because I asked for it for my birthday this year so I am hoping I do get it. It is
the Complete Illustrations from the Dragon Ball manga by Akira Toriyama. If you don't know what Dragon Ball (or at least Dragon Ball Z) is, then you missed out on an integral part of a childhood and I highly suggest you take three days to binge watch the original series and the "Z" series, but definitely skip the "GT" series.

Happy Monday everyone! I felt as though I didn't get to a lot of reading this week, but I read nine books! I am currently posting my reviews for the Dragon Ball series but all these have been posted over the last week.

Stones and Finger Bones (The Black Towers #1) by Jessica Minyard. Aurelia's father has been murdered and she has been kidnapped by Rycen. In her attempt to uncover who has committed this heinous crime, she learns more about herself and her ability to rule.

The Great Hunt (The Wheel of Time #2) by Robert Jordan. The second in the Wheel of Time series follows Rand and company as they quest to find the Horn of Valere. With his powers growing and his attempts to thrawt the Dark One getting weaker and weaker, what is in store for the Dragon Reborn?

This week's theme is my favourite first lines from five novels!

1. "Blue Sargent had forgotten how many times she'd been told that she would kill her true love." - The Raven Boys (The Raven Cycle #1) by Maggie Stiefvater

The Raven Cycle, and Maggie Stievater in general, is one of the best choices I made in 2014. I started reading this series (late) and have fallen in love with it since then. It is one of my favourites and I absolutely recommend it to anyone who has yet to read it and loves magic, mystery, and kisses that can't happen.
