Stacking the Shelves (45): October 1, 2022

Stacking The Shelves is hosted by Reading Reality and is all about sharing the books you are adding to your shelves, may it be physical or virtual. This means you can include books you buy in physical store or online, books you borrow from friends or the library, review books, gifts, and of course ebooks!
Happy October! Tomorrow I'm going to post a monthly recap of everything from September - events I attended, books I read, and things I did, so stay tuned for that.

Today is the grand opening of Manifest Bookstore! Manifest Bookstore is an independently owned African Caribbean Bookstore located in Toronto, Ontario. They focus on bringing knowledge and diversity to Canadians. Be sure to check them out when you're in the neighbourhood.

We're officially in spooky season so I have pumpkin spice and hot chocolate prepped and ready to go. Halloween is my least favourite holiday because I do NOT like being scared, but it's my fiance's favourite so we're going to go all out for it. I have to decide what my costume is going to be!

What are you going to be for Halloween?

  1. Nice! Yay for new bookstores! I love Halloween myself, but also hate being scared. Like I will not go to those Haunted Houses where people jump out and scare you. I don't need that! Nope. But I will go to a real haunted house and take a tour and learn about its history and maybe see a ghost? Maybe not? Who knows! I'll take that route any day! Lol.

Nice new reads! Those are new to me ones from the sounds of things but I hope you enjoy them all!

My StS will be up tomorrow, so stop by then if you can!

    Have a GREAT day!
