Disclaimer: I received a free copy of this book and chose to review it. This in no way impacts my opinion.

Okay, I'm ready for Christmas! This was such a cute and fun holiday romance. I loved the way that family dynamics and different aspects of moving towards being your own person were depicted in here as well. I thought that it was totally adorable to have them check off the bucket list of things to do in your town and I want to do that in my town. The whole "switch" of the phone thing lasted a night so it was kind of a gimmick to have it as the title, but it was a cute way to get the characters talking a bit more.

I connected with both of the main characters right away. I thought the way they handled their present and their secrets was really interesting and relatable. I also liked that Lila was a book blogger, although I don't know how she could read and post in basically the same day. I have my blog scheduled for WEEKS lol.

I thought the inclusion of rock climbing was a really interesting choice for a sport for the love interest. It isn't one you see often but it was really neat and I liked the metaphor of how you have to trust and rely on each other as a thread throughout. Teddy was definitely worthy of being crushed on!

There were some elements of convenience that didn't vibe with me and I wish the side characters had been fleshed out (more set in this universe with them, especially KC, please!!!). But that's typical of these types of romance stories and I can't fault the author for including them because everyone was oh so cute!

TLDR: If you want to skip Hallowe'en like I do and get into the Christmas spirit, this one is for you! A cute love interest with great banter, a wholesome look at family, and the perfect winter town. What more could you ask for?
