THE HEARTBREAK CURE by Amanda Ashby!

THE HEARTBREAK CURE

Author: Amanda Ashby
Series: N/A
Publisher: Entangled: Crush
Publication Date: December 4, 2017

Summary:
How to get over a heartbreak:

Step one: Eat your body weight in brownies.

Step two: Throw yourself into your dreams of becoming a famous writer.

Step three: Beg your (hottie) ex-neighbor to act as your fake boyfriend.

Step four: Skip step three unless you’re ready for some serious fallout.

After being dumped and humiliated over the summer, Cat Turner does what any sane girl would do. She asks bad boy Alex Locke to be her fake boyfriend and show the world (and her editor at the school newspaper) that she's fine. Problem is, the more time she spends with Alex, the more she risks getting her heart broken. For real this time.

Disclaimer: This Entangled Teen Crush book contains a swoony bad boy who will melt your heart, brownies, and witty banter. One, two, or all three might prove addictive…

Top 5 Swoonworthy Romance Pairings

Thank you so much for hosting me today! I’m a huge romance fan so there is nothing I like more than talking about swoonworthy romances, and here are my top five!

Buffy and Angel

Buffy is my all time favorite show and I’m Team Angel all the way. Everything about their story was just so believable and tragic. Plus when Angel takes his shirt off, sigh….

Elizabeth Bennet and Mr. Darcy

Buffy is my favorite show and Pride and Prejudice is my favorite book so it’s a no brainer to make Elizabeth and Mr. Darcy couple number two. What I love best about this romance is when Elizabeth realized Darcy had all the goodness and that Wickham only had the appearance of goodness. Plus they were just so perfectly matched and worked pretty hard to get their happy ever after!

Feyre and Rhysand from Sarah J. Maas’s Court of Thorn and Roses series

Rhys is the perfect tormented hero who, once he falls for Feyre, stays fallen. The pair of them are seriously sizzling!

Stephanie Plum and Morelli from Janet Evanovich’s Stephanie Plum books

Even though Stephanie constantly gets distracted by Ranger, I’m a firm believer that Stephanie and Joe belong together. They both give each other a run for their money and are so perfect together!

Rose and Dimitri from The Vampire Academy by Richelle Mead

Man I love these two! Rose is a total kick butt, take no prisoners kind of girl so Dimitri is probably the only guy who can handle her (not that I don’t love Adrian because I do, but he was no match for Rose).

So, that’s my Top 5 Swoonworthy pairings and now I need to go and read/watch everything again because I’m feeling so sentimental!!!!!

  1. I thought this book was adorable. I love a good fauxmance romance, and I had no problem shipping these two.
